Elevating the Kingdom of Bahrain's Global Digital Presence
User Experience (UX) Strategy / User Interface (UI) Design / Website Design & Development / Custom Web Applications Development
One of the most innovative features was a comprehensive directory of the kingdom’s missions abroad. Users could select an embassy or mission from a list to view its location on an interactive map, along with key information including contact details, key personnel, and news related to bilateral relations between the two nations.
The user interface was designed to cater to citizens, visitors, and residents, and prioritised the ease of navigation. The services webpage detailed essential services in clear, step-by-step terms, outlining required documents, fees, and available channels for support.
Boxon developed a comprehensive website that effectively showcases the ministry’s global efforts. As Bahrain’s official international platform, it serves both citizens and non-citizen visitors worldwide, offering services ranging from documentation and visas to travel permits and official information. The website also adheres to UN ranking criteria and W3C international standards.
Each embassy or mission had the autonomy to manage its own page and content through the CMS. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) retained overall authority to control menu visibility and content across individual mission and embassy pages, as well as to create new sites through CMS users in different languages.
